Shirley C. Braswell

Vice President of Top Performance Enterprise, Inc., Ms. Shirley C. Braswell has 21 years of experience as a Financial Analyst working for all four branches of the Armed Forces and the Department of Defense Dependant Schools (DoDDS). She was handpicked as an Outstanding Scholars for the United States Air Force through Outstanding Scholar Program. Ms. Braswell is a magna cum laud a graduate of Wayland Baptist University in Plainview in Texas with a Bachelor’s degree with 3.7 GPA in Business Administration and Management and a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Financial Management with 3.8 GPA. Also has a Doctoral degree in Biblical Studies from Indianapolis, Indiana. In her last position for the Air Force, she served as Lead Financial Analyst for the 78 Wing at Robins, AFB, GA where she served at the supervisory level for six squadron’s financial management analysts with funds totaling over $190M annually. Briefings and recommendations to the wing commander were daily occurrences. However, her career has taken her all over Europe, the Pacific, as well as several different states.

Ms. Braswell has supervisory and managerial experience that has lead to numerous performance awards, special act of service awards, and several notable achievement awards. She has experience with appropriated and non-appropriated funds as well as; Capital Working Funds, SBIR, 1, 2 and 3 year funds, cancel year funds, and O&M funds, multi-year funds, contract closeout, and end of the year closeout of funds at Headquarters, AFMC, Wright Patterson AFB, OH. Reviewed and approved status of funds for quarterly execution reports ensuring that funds are committed, obligated, and expended in a timely manner. Ms. Braswell supervised, executed and realigned funds to minimize annual shortfalls due to redistribution of funds in support of our war-fighters.

Ms. Braswell was also employed with the State of North Carolina School System for several years as a Programmed Tutor before entering the financial world with the federal government. The experiences of Ms. Shirley Braswell have prepared her to be a leader and visionary with the drive and determination to make a difference.
